Do These Bands Fux Live?

What else would bring me to a rooftop DJ set than a case of mistaken identity (not that it made much sense that fairly obscure late 2010s band Martha was reviving itself, but hey anything can happen in NYC). Still had a 1.5/2 time.

Dinner and a show, so we got our fill of food and Phil of music. Not sure Ill be having this much fun again in 90 minutes for a long, long while. 4 scores for the PR XP.

Small garden that packs a big voice.

A perfect petri dish of hardcore bodying as the terrors from Tuscon led a powerhouse tryptic (sorry first band) the likes of which have not been felt in the Meadows, or perhaps, anywhere, in 6.66/7 months, the mosh pit, sanctuary.

As a fully bonafide jazz fan, I needed to learn a little bit more what its all about. So that's what I did. Not sure if you can have 2 more fine depictions than these two 5/6 time documentaries about what it was and is and how it came to be.

Im sorry @. You played so languidly, I had no idea you were one of the somebodies. Sharp Pins, how you poked our hearts with your wild energy. But not to be topped came Snail Mail express. You gave the audience every little morsel they could demand. You played your new album which actually was good. 4.75/5

Ok, now I understand. Doors open @7, means show @ 8:30 ok. I see. Not a problem. A bit of a problem. Though Serengetti started promptly. He told us his favorite actor. He's a silly guy. Left when he wouldnt shut up about his Sufjan collabs. 4/5.

Union Pool has been slowly earning its favor by putting on fantastic concerts at reasonable prices with a good vibe. This was a benefit, for everyone involved, but specifically for someone as well. Great show, sorry Sunburned Hand for not recognizing you when I came in late. 4.666/5
