So while Alphaville and I have officially made up, still cant believe these start time delays. But for a band I just heard about for the first time 2 weeks. 4.5/5

In what turned out to be a loooooong night for p***y power, I was forced to stay awake, captivated against my will until the stroke of midnight when this cinderella needed to return home. Also met Jeff, the hardcore fan from Richmond. 5/6

Given the endorsement of the proud mother of an Olivia Rodigo loving Teen as "[I] like it enough, it reminds me of Phoebe Bridgers. More of a background type music for me.", how could I miss out? Well I sneaked my way to the front to get ahead of the always packed BAR crowd. I stayed for a powerhouse 40 minutes of what turned out to be an hour long set. The problem was when I left for a break, there was no turning back. 3.75/4.

Lonnie Holley

FiDi

February 17th, 2024

So if I had a nickel for every time I've tried to see a concert in FiDi, I'd have two nickels which isnt a lot but its weird that it happened twice (and in a row). But when Lonnie Holley was offering a basement performance for ??? dollars (turned out to be 5) I couldn't turn it down. Fresh off a performance at the K-Center Lonnie Holley bantered, bluesed, and improvised for 4.75/5 soul-down (Lee Bains was on guitar).

Don't head down to FiDi very much for concerts, but that would be about to change (more on that later). Anyway, so this was the 2nd #EPICFAIL to see Odessa Hartman live. Turns out when a PAC lobby says the musicians will be performing at 8:00 PM, they mean it. Will the 3rd time be the charm? Stay tuned to find out.
